We are hiring an Associate SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant (2 to 3 years) for an On-site position in Durgapur.

Role Details:

- Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days max

What you will be working on:
- Supporting end-to-end procurement and inventory operations in SAP MM (ECC 6.0 / SAP S/4HANA).
- Creating and maintaining purchasing master data, including Material Master, Vendor/BP Master, Purchasing Info Records, and Source Lists.
- Managing day-to-day purchasing workflows: Purchase Requisitions (PR), Request for Quotation (RFQ), and Purchase Orders (PO).
- Supporting inventory management activities: Goods Receipts (MIGO), Goods Issues, Transfer Postings, and Stock Transport Orders (STO).
- Assisting in Logistics Invoice Verification (MIRO) and resolving basic quantity/price variance blocks.
- Assisting plant teams with movement types, physical inventory counts, and reservation tracking.
- Troubleshooting day-to-day user tickets,



performing root cause analysis, and assisting senior consultants with testing and enhancements.
- Coordinating with plant operations, stores, and cross-functional module teams (FI, SD, PP).

What we are looking for:
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on project or support experience in SAP MM.
- Clear functional understanding of P2P (Procure-to-Pay) cycles and basic MM-FI account determination (OBYC).
- Familiarity with standard inventory movement types and valuation concepts.
- Prior experience working in plant, manufacturing, or industrial environments is a strong plus.
- Solid problem-solving mindset, positive documentation habits, and clear communication skills for on-site plant coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
