Job Description:

Position: Production Manager

Location: Umbergaon

Experience: 10 - 15 Years

Industries: Plastic

Responsibilities:

- Lead production operations and new project setup for the plastic recycling/reprocessing plant.
- Plan and manage production schedules, manpower, machinery and shift operations.
- Set up, commission and stabilize new production lines, processes and equipment.
- Develop and implement SOPs, production standards and process parameters.
- Monitor production targets, capacity utilization, yield, quality and productivity.
- Manage plastic recycling/reprocessing activities, including raw material handling, segregation and processing.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, EHS, Stores and Procurement teams for smooth plant operations.
- Identify and reduce process losses, rejection, wastage, downtime and material losses.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and statutory requirements.
- Lead, train and develop production operators, supervisors and other shop-floor personnel.
- Prepare daily/monthly production reports, MIS and performance analysis for management.
- Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, productivity enhancement and process optimization.
- Support project commissioning, trial production, process validation and commercial production.
- Ensure proper housekeeping,



5S and safe working practices across the production area.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of plastic recycling and reprocessing processes.
- Experience in plastic recycling plant / reprocessing plant operations.
- Knowledge of plastic waste segregation, material handling and processing.
- Production planning, capacity planning and manpower management.
- New plant/project setup, commissioning and production stabilization.
- Strong understanding of production machinery and process parameters.
- Knowledge of yield improvement, rejection control and wastage reduction.
- Good knowledge of preventive maintenance coordination and breakdown control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of SOP, 5S, Kaizen and continuous improvement.
- Solid leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of production MIS, KPI monitoring and reporting.
- Good coordination with Quality, Maintenance, EHS, Stores and Procurement teams.
- Strong focus on safety, productivity, quality and cost optimization.

Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical

Salary: - Upto 12.00 LPA
