Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and develop vendors for raw materials, packing materials, and engineering equipment, spares, and services.

- Evaluate suppliers and coordinate qualification with Quality and technical teams.

- Obtain quotations, prepare comparisons, and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

- Develop alternate suppliers to ensure supply continuity and cost savings.

- Monitor vendor quality and delivery performance; maintain vendor records in ERP.

Qualification & Experience:
Graduate in Engineering, Science, Pharmacy, or Supply Chain, preferably with 5–8 years of procurement and vendor development experience in pharma, chemicals, or manufacturing.

Key Skills: Sourcing, negotiation, supplier evaluation,



technical understanding, Excel, and ERP.

Requirements
Strong knowledge of pharma/API/chemical raw materials and solvents. Positive understanding of vendor qualification and development processes. Strong negotiation and commercial skills. Good knowledge of supplier evaluation, market research, and alternate sourcing. Ability to coordinate with QA, QC, R&D;, Production, and Finance teams. Strong analytical, communication, follow-up, and relationship-management skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/SAP, and procurement-related systems.
