Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Product Management Teams manage all aspects of a product, from driving recent product development to manufacturing to marketing. They are responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership and capacity plans in order to meet sales and profit targets.

Responsibilities

Strategy and Portfolio Leadership

• Develop and execute the mid- to long-term strategy for assigned VAP/Backshells product families, including market segmentation, target applications, customer priorities, competitive positioning, technology needs, and investment choices.
• Build and maintain product and technology roadmaps aligned with customer requirements, market trends, manufacturing capabilities, and the broader Connectors strategy.
• Own portfolio lifecycle management, including product vitality, platform leverage, rationalization, obsolescence, and resource allocation decisions.
• Develop value propositions,



pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans that improve market position, revenue growth, gross margin, and return on investment.
• Identify portfolio gaps and recommend organic development, partnership, sourcing, or other capability-building actions.

Growth, Customer, and Commercial Execution

• Partner with Sales and regional teams to develop strong relationships with strategic customers, understand application requirements, identify design-in opportunities, and convert the opportunity pipeline.
• Translate portfolio strategy and roadmaps into tactical growth plans with clear priorities, owners, milestones, and financial outcomes.
• Lead product launch planning and execution, including market preparation, pricing, sales enablement, channel readiness, and post-launch performance management.
