High School Science Coordinator

About the Role
Presidency School, Nandini Layout, is looking for an experienced and dynamic High School Coordinator to lead and coordinate the academic and administrative activities of the High School section. The ideal candidate should have strong academic leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with teachers, students, and parents.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate the day-to-day academic functioning of the High School section.
• Monitor lesson planning, syllabus completion, assessments, and academic progress.
• Support and guide teachers in effective teaching-learning practices.
• Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
• Coordinate examinations, assessments, result analysis, and remedial programmes.
• Monitor student discipline, attendance, behaviour, and overall development.
• Address student and parent concerns professionally and ensure timely resolution.
• Organise and coordinate academic activities, events, competitions,



and programmes.
• Work closely with the Principal and management in implementing academic policies and initiatives.
• Conduct regular meetings with teachers and communicate academic priorities effectively.
• Maintain appropriate academic records and reports.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement suitable action plans.
• Encourage a positive, collaborative, and student-focused learning environment.
• Ensure compliance with school policies, procedures, and academic standards.

Candidate Profile
• Qualification: Postgraduate degree with B.Ed. preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant teaching/academic coordination experience, preferably in a reputed ICSE International school.
• Prior experience as a High School Coordinator / Academic Coordinator / Senior Teacher / Vice Principal will be an advantage.
