About the role:
Delhivery is building an AI-first operating model where AI changes how work gets done, not just how existing tasks are automated.
We are looking for Forward Deployed Engineers who will work closely with business, operations and engineering teams to identify high-impact internal use cases and convert them into working AI solutions that run in production. The ideal candidate brings robust engineering fundamentals, a builder’s mindset, and a passion for using AI to improve how work gets done
This is a highly hands-on role for people who create momentum, operate well in ambiguity, and take ownership without waiting for detailed requirements or perfect conditions.
What you will own
• Deeply understand existing workflows, decisions, bottlenecks and manual effort.
• Challenge current processes and redesign them from first principles using AI, automation and human-in-the-loop models.
• Convert ambiguous business problems into transparent workflows, experiments and measurable outcomes.
• Personally build early prototypes and co-build production solutions with product and engineering teams.
• Drive solutions through prototype → pilot → production → adoption, rather than stopping at PoC.
• Integrate AI agents with Delhivery’s operational systems, APIs, data and workflows.
• Measure impact through productivity, cost reduction, SLA improvement, quality, revenue or customer experience.
• Turn successful patterns into reusable platforms, components and playbooks.
