About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced Software Development Engineer III (SDE III) to design, build, and operate scalable, cloud-native distributed systems. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Java/Spring Boot, microservices, event-driven architectures, API design, cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and up-to-date platform engineering practices. The role requires strong technical leadership, architecture and design experience, work breakdown and initiative sequencing capabilities, cross-team collaboration, mentoring, and hands-on software development.
You will be responsible for
Core Skills & Experience • Expert in Java/J2EE/Spring Boot or equivalent enterprise technology stack. • Solid experience designing and building scalable microservices and distributed systems. • Expertise in event-driven architecture using Kafka or similar messaging platforms. • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). • Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform or equivalent tools. • Experience with API design,



API gateways, service mesh technologies, rate limiting, resiliency, and traffic management patterns. • Deep understanding of observability, monitoring, logging, tracing, performance tuning, and operational excellence. • Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases. • Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, security scanning, and deployment automation. • Hands-on expertise with TDD, BDD, multithreading, concurrency, and performance engineering. • Experience integrating LLMs into enterprise applications, implementing guardrails, and building agentic workflows/skills. • Solid architecture, solution design, work breakdown, estimation, dependency management, and delivery planning skills. • Proven ability to mentor engineers, perform high-quality code reviews, and drive engineering best practices. • Experience with Couchbase or other NoSQL databases. • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker,
