About You and this role
As a CPAM Accounting Associate / Controller Coordinator you will ensure the accuracy and completeness of fixed asset records and supporting global end-to-end fixed asset accounting operations. You will need to be able to demonstrate technical and process expertise in managing asset transfers, sales,
and disposals between entities; initiating and managing Asset Verification activities according to company policy; various aspects of fixed asset accounting and adherence to established accounting policies. In this role, you will require understanding of key business drivers for your discipline and function. You will need to be able to expand conceptual and working knowledge related to your discipline or functional area. It is your responsibility to use technical experience, established practices, and personal judgement to analyze and resolve straightforward problems. Your performance impacts the quality of your own work and your team’s work and requires that you work within established guidelines and policies.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of fixed asset accounting records globally.
• Review Capital Authorization requests and ensure correct classification of Capital vs Expense as per accounting policy, Check Capitalize Interest applicability for capital projects.
