The SQA Engineer - Intern works as an entry-level individual contributor within an agile software engineering team. The role designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs assigned test automation, test cases, test utilities, AI Tools and related tools under guidance while learning software lifecycle practices, coding standards, automation frameworks and product architecture

Responsibilities (List All)

• Create, execute and maintain automated test cases and associated test data for assigned user stories and components under guidance.
• Develop basic automation scripts using approved language/frameworks and follow established coding standards.
• Support smoke, sanity, integration, system and regression testing with automation-first execution wherever practical.
• Validate defects, retest fixes and update defect records in the test management tool.
• Assist with traceability between requirements, test cases and executed automation results.
• Review and refactor existing tests with guidance to improve reliability, readability and efficiency.
• Communicate test status,



defects and quality risks clearly to senior engineers and team members.
• Learn the product architecture, interfaces, workplace dependencies and CI/CD concepts relevant to the assigned work.
• Support test automation framework updates and basic interaction with cloud services, CI/CD pipelines and authentication methods with guidance.
• Communicate task status clearly, collaborate effectively with teammates and support sprint estimation.

Use approved AI-assisted tools under guidance to support test development, documentation, and defect analysis while following team standards and data privacy requirements
