About The Job

We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer – Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our Enterprise Software R&D; team. The role involves designing and executing test strategies, automating test scenarios, validating software features and ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have robust experience in test automation, manual testing, test planning and defect management, along with mandatory knowledge of the Energy Trade and Risk Management (ETRM) domain.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute test plans, test scenarios and test cases based on product requirements.
• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts to validate software functionality, reliability and performance.
• Perform manual and automated testing across enterprise software applications.
• Identify, document, track and validate software defects through the complete defect lifecycle.
• Perform functional, regression and integration testing to ensure product quality.




• Investigate customer-reported issues and product defects and support root-cause analysis.
• Monitor test results and identify prospects for improving test coverage, quality and testing efficiency.
• Recommend and implement preventive and corrective actions to maintain quality standards.
• Work closely with Developers, R&D; Engineers, Product Teams and other stakeholders to resolve defects and ensure successful releases.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation, test reports and quality metrics.
• Use Jira and Zephyr Scale for test management, test execution and defect tracking.
• Perform database validation and testing using SQL/PostgreSQL.
• Ensure software quality and testing practices align with defined quality and industry requirements.
