SAP FS-CD Billing Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP FS-CD Billing Engineer to support a large-scale greenfield SAP Financial Services Collections and Disbursements (FS-CD) implementation within a up-to-date insurance billing platform.
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of functional and technical expertise with an emphasis on technical coding and system integration.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, configure, and implement SAP FS-CD solutions to support enterprise billing, collections, and accounts receivable processes.
• Lead solution design and configuration for key FS-CD capabilities including:
o Contract Accounts
o Business Partners
o Insurance Objects
o Payment Processing
o Clearing and Allocation Rules
o Dunning and Collections
o Account Determination
o Refunds and Write-Offs
o Billing and Invoicing Processes




• Collaborate with business and technical teams to define end-to-end solutions supporting policy administration, billing, payments, and financial reporting.
• Support integration design between SAP FS-CD and upstream/downstream applications using APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution workshops, fit-gap analysis, design reviews, and testing activities.
• Develop functional specifications and support technical teams with development, integration, and troubleshooting activities.
• Partner with architecture and platform teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise integration, security, and performance standards.
• Support Agile delivery teams through backlog refinement, sprint planning, solution reviews, and production readiness activities.
• Identify prospects to leverage standard SAP capabilities while minimizing custom development.
• Provide guidance on SAP FS-CD best practices, billing operations, collections processing, and financial controls.
