As a Buying Skilled, you will play a critical role in supporting Siemens Energy's Power Transformer Manufacturing business by driving strategic procurement and supplier management activities. You will be responsible for developing and strengthening the supply chain ecosystem, ensuring the timely availability of goods and services, optimizing costs, and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Quality, Maintenance, IT, and EHS to ensure procurement strategies are aligned with business objectives. You will lead supplier qualification, contract negotiations, performance management, and risk mitigation initiatives while supporting manufacturing growth and operational excellence. We are looking for a procurement qualified with robust industry expertise in electrical equipment and transformer manufacturing, who can combine strategic sourcing capabilities with commercial acumen to deliver sustainable value for the organization.





How You'll Make an Impact

• Develop and strengthen the local and regional supply chain network by identifying, qualifying, and onboarding suppliers to support the Power Transformer manufacturing business.

• Drive strategic sourcing initiatives for both direct and indirect procurement categories, ensuring optimum supplier selection, cost competitiveness, and supply continuity.

• Negotiate and manage contracts, statements of work, service agreements, and commercial terms in collaboration with legal and business stakeholders.

• Establish and monitor supplier performance metrics related to quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness, driving continuous improvement and risk mitigation plans.

• Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Quality, IT, and EHS teams to define procurement requirements and ensure timely project execution.
