Trade Operation Specialist (Bangalore)

Key Responsibilities
• Trade Capture and Validation
• Review trades executed by Front Office teams and ensure accurate capture in trading and
risk- management systems.
• Validate key trade economics, including:
o Trade date and settlement date
o Buy/Sell indicator
o Quantity and price
o Currency
o Counterparty
o Instrument/product
o Notional value
o Brokerage/fees
o Settlement instructions
• Identify incorrect, incomplete, or missing trade information and coordinate with Front Office or
relevant teams for correction.
• Ensure trades are processed within applicable cut - off times.

Trade Lifecycle Management
• Monitor trades from execution through settlement, including:
• Trade Execution → Capture → Enrichment → Confirmation/Affirmation → Matching →
Settlement → Reconciliation → Lifecycle Events
• Monitor outstanding trades and ensure they progress through the appropriate lifecycle stages.
• Process amendments, cancellations, novation’s, allocations, and other trade lifecycle events.
• Maintain accurate records of trade status and exceptions.

Knowledge on products such as: -
• FX Spot




• FX Forward
• FX Swap

• NDFs
• FX Options, where applicable
• Precious metals
• Base metals
• Energy products
• Agricultural commodities
• Commodity futures
• Commodity forwards/swaps
• Commodity options
• OTC’s

Responsibilities include:
• Validate trade economics, quantity, price, currency, and delivery/settlement terms.
• Process physical and cash - settled transactions where applicable.
• Monitor commodity trade confirmations and matching.
• Support lifecycle events such as amendments, rolls, exercises, and expiries.
• Reconcile positions, cash, and settlement information.
• Coordinate with Front Office, clearing brokers, exchanges, and Operations.

Reconciliations
Perform daily and periodic reconciliations between internal systems and external sources,
including:
• Front - office trading systems
• Operations platforms
• Custodian records
• Broker statements
• Exchange/clearing records
• Nostro accounts
• General ledger
• Counterparty records
