Key Responsibilities
Supplier Quality Management
• Develop, implement, and maintain supplier quality assurance processes and standards.
• Lead supplier qualification, approval, and performance monitoring activities.
• Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and evaluations to ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety requirements.
• Drive Supplier Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities for current product introductions and supplier changes.
• Manage Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions and approvals.
Supplier Development & Continuous Improvement
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes, product quality, and process capability.
• Promote and implement continuous improvement methodologies including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke, PFMEA, SPC, and SQC.
• Identify supplier improvement prospects through data analysis and performance reviews.
• Develop and track supplier corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA).
Quality Assurance & Compliance
• Ensure supplier compliance with applicable quality standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Monitor compliance with CE Marking, RoHS, REACH, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Review inspection reports, control plans, validation documents, and quality records.
• Support First Article Inspection (FAI), sample approvals, and product validation activities.
Problem Solving & Risk Management
• Lead root cause investigations for supplier-related quality issues.
