Designation: Staff Nurse
Reports To: Nursing In-charge / Nursing Superintendent
Salary Budget: 25-35K CTC/Month

• Job Purpose

To provide secure, compassionate and effective nursing care to patients admitted in the Obs & Gynae Ward and General Ward, maintain proper nursing documentation, assist doctors during procedures, and ensure compliance with Hospital policies, nursing protocols and patient-safety standards.
• Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide complete nursing care to patients admitted in the Obs & Gynae Ward and General Ward.
• Receive patients, perform initial nursing assessment and record vital signs including BP, pulse, temperature and SpO₂.
• Monitor patients regularly and immediately report any abnormal or critical findings to the treating doctor/Nursing In-charge.
• Administer medicines, injections,



IV fluids and other treatments strictly as prescribed by the treating doctor and as per Hospital protocols.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes, medication charts, vital charts, intake-output records and other required documentation.
• Assist Gynecologists during antenatal, postnatal and gynecological patient care.
• Provide nursing support to pregnant patients during admission, labour-related care, pre- and post-procedure care and post-delivery monitoring as assigned.
• Assist during Normal Delivery, LSCS, MTP and other gynecology-related procedures as directed and within the scope of nursing duties.
• Ensure proper preparation of patients for procedures, investigations, surgery and discharge.
• Provide post-operative and post-procedure nursing care and monitor patients for complications.
• Maintain proper care and monitoring of newborns/infants as assigned in the Obs & Gynae area.
