We are looking for a skilled and motivated Cisco SDN/SDN Engineer to join our dynamic network engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, management, and troubleshooting of Cisco SDN/SDA solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the optimization and automation of our network infrastructure using Cisco's SDN technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
SDN Implementation & Configuration:
Deploy and manage Cisco SDN solutions including Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) and Cisco DNA (Digital Network Architecture).
Configure and integrate network devices (switches, routers, firewalls) to work within the SDN framework.
Ensure scalability, performance, and redundancy of the SDN workplace.
Network Automation & Orchestration:
Implement automation and orchestration solutions to streamline network provisioning and management.
Develop and deploy scripts (using Python, Ansible, or similar tools) for automation tasks.
Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
Continuously monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to SDN components.
Perform root cause analysis and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Collaboration & Documentation:
Collaborate with network architects, systems engineers, and other IT teams to optimize SDN solutions.
Document SDN configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure operational consistency and compliance.
Security and Compliance:
Ensure that SDN architecture is designed and deployed with solid security measures in place.
Follow industry best practices and security standards to maintain a secure SDN setting.
Ongoing Maintenance & Support:
Provide ongoing support for the SDN infrastructure, including upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
