Hiring: Engineer / Sr. Engineer – Quality (Shop Inspection)
Qualification: Diploma / BE Mechanical
Industry Preference: Candidates from Process Equipment / Heavy Engineering / Fabrication industries will be preferred.

Mandatory Skills:
• Solid knowledge of end-to-end fabrication processes
• Knowledge of ASME Section VIII – Division 1 & 2
• Experience in shop-floor inspection of fabricated equipment
• Knowledge of QAP, NDT, dimensional inspection, hydro/pneumatic testing,



heat treatment and surface preparation

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and follow up on Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) as per client specifications and applicable codes.
• Inspect fabricated equipment including raw material identification, dished ends, fit-up/set-ups, dimensional inspection, NDT, heat treatment, pressure testing, surface preparation and painting.
• Prepare NCRs, deviation/concession requests and inspection documentation.
• Coordinate with TPI/third-party inspection agencies and clients for inspections and release/dispatch clearances.
• Conduct/preparation for pre-inspection and production schedule meetings with clients.
• Ensure compliance with applicable ASME codes and client specifications.
