Software Engineering Manager, DryvIQ Team at Nasuni - C#.NET
Hyderabad, India | Hybrid — 3 days onsite
Role overview
Nasuni is expanding the DryvIQ engineering team in Hyderabad following our acquisition of DryvIQ, bringing intelligent content discovery, classification, sensitivity detection, and policy-driven governance into the Nasuni platform.
We're looking for a hands-on Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of approximately 4–7 Software Engineers building primarily backend services using C#/.NET, microservices, and distributed systems, with some React-based frontend development.
This is a technical people-leadership role. You'll stay close enough to the architecture and code to challenge designs, troubleshoot difficult problems, and raise engineering standards, while your primary accountability is building an effective engineering team and delivering reliable product outcomes.
This role is well suited to an engineering leader who still enjoys getting into technical details but measures success through the capability and results of the team.
Level and scope
You will own the engineering effectiveness, delivery, technical quality, and development of a product engineering team. You'll make and facilitate architecture and engineering decisions within your area, translate product priorities into executable technical plans, and partner closely with Product, SDET/QA Automation, Security, Operations, and global Nasuni engineering teams.
You will directly manage Software Engineers and work closely with SDET/QA Automation resources through a dotted-line partnership.
What you'll do
• Lead, coach, and develop 4–7 Software Engineers while creating explicit expectations for ownership, quality, collaboration, and growth.
• Guide the design and evolution of C#/.NET backend microservices, APIs, asynchronous workflows, and distributed processing systems.
• Stay technically engaged through architecture and design reviews, code reviews, debugging, incident analysis,
