Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons for classes IX‑XII in accordance with the CBSE/State curriculum.
Design and implement appropriate teaching aids, visual tools, and technology‑enhanced resources.
Assess student performance through assignments, quizzes, tests, and examinations; provide constructive feedback.
Identify learning gaps and devise remedial strategies to support struggling students.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress reports.
Participate actively in faculty meetings, curriculum development, and school events.
Contribute to co‑curricular and extra‑curricular activities, such as math clubs, competitions, and Olympiads.
Uphold the school’s values, discipline standards, and safety protocols.
Engage with parents/guardians during parent‑teacher meetings to discuss student progress.
Essential Qualifications
Completed a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or a related field.
Eligibility for TGT position as per state regulations (e.g., B.Ed. or equivalent qualified qualification is preferred).
Explicit understanding of the CBSE/State Board mathematics syllabus.
Desired Experience
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary or senior secondary level.
Maximum of 10 years of experience is acceptable; candidates with up to 10 years will be considered.
Experience using digital tools (e‑learning platforms, smart boards) is an advantage.
Proven track record of improving student performance in mathematics.
