WE'RE HIRING | FORMULATION SPECIALIST – TOOTHPASTE

Location: Sector 43, Gurugram

Experience: 3–5+ Years | New Product Development

CTC: Up to 12 LPA

Industry: Personal Care / FMCG / Oral Care

Working: 5 Days + Alternate Saturday WFH

Working Hours: 8–9 Hours

Relocation: Can be considered

We are looking for a detail-oriented Formulation Specialist / R&D; Professional with strong hands-on experience in toothpaste formulation and end-to-end New Product Development (NPD).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and optimize toothpaste formulations, including gel & paste variants, whitening, sensitive and restoration products.

• Handle the complete formulation process from concept, lab trials and pilot trials to scale-up.

• Optimize formulations for efficacy, stability, performance and cost.

• Conduct ingredient compatibility and stability studies.

• Evaluate raw materials based on performance, safety and cost.

• Collaborate with QC, production, suppliers and cross-functional teams.

• Develop testing protocols for abrasivity, foaming, antimicrobial properties, etc.

• Troubleshoot formulation and production-related issues.

REQUIREMENTS:





• Master's / Ph.D. in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field.

• 3–5+ years of experience in Formulation R&D; / Current Product Development.

• Solid expertise in toothpaste formulation, especially gel & paste.

• Knowledge of surfactants, flavors, humectants, abrasives and active ingredients.

• Understanding of microbiological/clinical testing, rheology and stability testing.

• Prior Team Lead / team-handling experience preferred.

• Candidates from Personal Care, Cosmetics, FMCG or Oral Care industries can be considered.

• Knowledge of PHP required.

• Candidates from ICT, Rajiv Gandhi Institute and similar reputed institutes preferred.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

A skilled who can independently manage end-to-end toothpaste formulation & NPD, from formulation development and testing to scale-up and commercialization.
