Job Description Summary
Manages other team leaders or teams of employees/operators using machinery or equipment to assist with all manufacturing activities of a plant or production process, including production, materials, health & safety, quality control, and other steps along a value stream.
Job Description:
Operations Management
Supervise others working within established operational systems.
Production Planning
Develop daily and weekly production plans for value streams to include resource planning and monitoring and reporting on performance against the plan.
Leadership and Direction
Explain the local action plan, to support team members in their understanding of what needs to be done, and how this relates to the broader business plan and the organization's strategy, mission, and vision; motivate people to achieve local business goals.
Manufacturing Methods/Processes Development
Identify shortcomings in existing manufacturing processes, systems,



and procedures; develop methods and processes to address them.
Health, Safety, and Setting
Follow the organization's health, safety, and setting (HSE) policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the well-being of self and others in the workplace; instruct the team in safe working methods; identify instances of risky behaviors within the team and take appropriate action, escalating reliable issues as appropriate.
Quality Assurance
Help management to implement quality assurance change initiatives and/or make continuous operational improvements.
Work Scheduling and Allocation
Develop short- or medium-term work schedules in order to achieve planned commitments. Approve overtime or use additional resources as needed.
Operational Compliance
Identify, within the team, instances of noncompliance with the organization's policies and procedures and/or relevant reg
