Ashland has an exciting chance for an Planner to join our Ambernath plant Mumbai team. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company. The position will report to the Plant manager.

This is an Onsite full time position.

Key Responsibilities;

Production Planning

• Prepare weekly and monthly production plans based on customer forecasts, sales orders, inventory, and production capacity.
• Convert demand forecasts into executable production schedules.
• Monitor production plan adherence and coordinate with production teams to resolve scheduling issues.
• Optimize machine utilization and manufacturing throughput.




• Ensure timely availability of materials to support production schedules.

Demand & Sales Coordination

• Coordinate with Sales and Customer Service teams to understand customer requirements, forecasts, and delivery commitments.
• Review customer orders and prioritize production schedules to meet delivery timelines.
• Participate in S&OP; (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings.
• Monitor demand fluctuations and update plans accordingly.

Procurement Coordination

• Work closely with Procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables.
• Generate material requirement plans (MRP) through SAP.
• Monitor material shortages and proactively initiate procurement actions.
• Follow up with suppliers and procurement teams regarding critical materials impacting production.

Inventory Management

• Maintain optimum inventory levels for raw materials, packaging materials, and
