We are seeking a high-achieving developer to join our Offensive Security Operations team (OSO). This role will focus on automating processes and building tools to drive down cyber security risk. You will have the chance to innovate, build for the future, and make a direct impact on our security landscape
OSO conducts internal security testing exercises and leads key initiatives to identify and mitigate cyber security risks. However, to improve our business-as-usual activities, we require additional automation and custom tooling. Your contributions will be critical in streamlining operations, automating high impact security checks, and supporting the team’s long-term success.
Our setting is cloud-native, primarily AWS based with a mature development ecosystem and well-established standards.
Responsibilities
• Gather user requirements, decipher the needs and expectations of internal and external customers, and translate them into effective solution designs.
• Maintain regular communication with partners, providing updates and collecting feedback for continuous improvement.
• Implement and deliver solutions within agreed timeframes.
• Fully test services including unit tests and user acceptance tests.
• Provide full documentation ensuring there are appropriate artefacts for maintaining, extending and using your work in your absence.
• Ensure all services align with LSEG security standards, team quality controls, and validated approaches.
• Collaborate with partner teams to integrate security measures into all stages of the development lifecycle and existing tooling.
• Continuously evaluate and improve quality and security processes, policies and documentation based on lessons learned and industry developments where possible through automation.
• Communicate sophisticated technology concepts and solutions clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences through reports, presentations, and documentation.
