We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT QA Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding the quality of our software products before they reach the end user. You will design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans, identify software defects, and work closely with the development team to ensure our technology meets strict performance, security, and user experience standards. The ideal candidate treats quality as a shared responsibility rather than a mere checkpoint.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Design: Review software requirements, business scenarios, and user stories to develop well-structured test plans and precise test cases.
Test Execution: Conduct manual and automated testing (including unit, integration, system, performance, and regression testing) to ensure functionality holistically.
Defect Management: Identify, log, track, and monitor software bugs using defect-tracking tools and verify fixes provided by the development team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and developers to understand feature requirements and provide technical solution analysis.
Quality Process Optimization: Develop, document, and continuously refine internal testing processes,
protocols, and IT quality standards.
Workplace & Setup: Assist in setting up test environments, creating realistic load scenarios, and utilizing automated testing tools to ensure deep test coverage.
Technical Requirements:
2 to 5 years of proven experience in a QA or Software Testing role.
Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in both Agile and Waterfall settings.
Hands-on experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, ALM) and test management software.
Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) is preferred.
Basic understanding of databases (SQL), API testing (Postman), and network fundamentals.
Soft Skills:
Sharp analytical and critical thinking skills to anticipate how an end user might break the software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to efficiently report bugs and advocate for quality improvements.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple testing cycles simultaneously.
Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
Perks:
Flexible schedule
Work Location: In person
