Job Description

Okta IAM Operations Engineer (3–6 Years Experience)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Okta Operations Engineer to support and operate our enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) environment built on Okta.
This role is primarily operational,



focused on production support, user lifecycle management, application onboarding, incident handling, and platform stability, while partnering with application, security, and infrastructure teams.
The ideal candidate will have solid hands‑on experience with Okta administration, IAM concepts, and enterprise application integrations.

Key Responsibilities
Okta Operations & User Lifecycle Management
• Provide L2/L3 operational support for Okta IAM platform
• Manage user lifecycle processes including joiner, mover, and leaver (JML)
• Support user provisioning and de‑provisioning, group memberships, and role assignments
• Maintain and support Okta Universal Directory, groups, and attribute mappings
• Perform routine administrative activities in line with IAM policies and controls

Application & Integration Support
• Support application integrations with Okta using:• SAML
• OIDC / OAuth
