Key Responsibilities:
Reconcile physical stock with book stock on a regular basis and identify discrepancies.
Investigate and report reasons for stock shortages, excesses, and inventory mismatches.
Maintain accurate stock records and ensure proper documentation of stock movements.
Handle day-to-day accounting entries and transactions using BUSY Accounting Software.
Have good knowledge of purchase, sales, stock, receipt, payment, and journal entries in BUSY.
Perform stock verification, inventory reconciliation, and ledger reconciliation.
Coordinate with stores, purchase, sales, and accounts teams to resolve discrepancies.
Maintain proper records and assist in preparing stock and accounting reports.
Ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting and inventory-related work.
Required Skills:
Good working knowledge of BUSY Accounting Software.
Solid understanding of inventory and stock reconciliation.
Ability to identify and analyze differences between physical and book stock.
Valuable knowledge of basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in MS Excel will be an added advantage.
Positive attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to independently handle stock and accounting-related responsibilities.
