​About the Role

​We are looking for an accurate and detail-oriented Customs Documentation Executive to join our team at Neelkanth Logistics, Vashi. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing shipping documents, verifying product and valuation data, and preparing error-free customs checklists for import/export clearances before submission on ICEGATE.

​Key Responsibilities
​Document Verification: Scrutinize incoming import/export documents (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading / Airway Bill, Certificate of Origin, etc.) for completeness and regulatory compliance.
​Checklist Drafting: Accurately prepare and generate Bill of Entry (B/E) and Shipping Bill (S/B) checklists using customs documentation software.
​Classification & Valuation: Assist in verifying HS Codes, notification perks, duty structures, IGST calculations, and applicable valuation rules.
​Query Resolution: Coordinate with the internal operations team or clients to resolve document discrepancies, missing data,



or description mismatches.
​Filing Support: Prepare clean, finalized documentation packets ready for ICEGATE upload and liaise with the clearing team to track status updates.
​Record Keeping: Maintain organized physical and digital records of all filed documents, assessment copies, and communication logs.

​Requirements & Qualifications
​Experience: 1 to 3+ years of experience in documentation at a Customs Broker (CHA) or freight forwarding firm .
​Technical Familiarity: Prior experience using customs clearance software (such as Visual Impex, ONS milar tools) and basic knowledge of the ICEGATE portal.
​Knowledge: Sound understanding of Bill of Entry formats, HS codes, customs duties, and import-export document workflows.
​Skills: High numerical accuracy, sharp eye for detail, and positive typing/data entry speed.
​Location: Candidates residing in or around Navi Mumbai (Vashi, Nerul, Belapur, Panvel, etc.) preferred for easy commute.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
