Job Description – Senior AccountantKey Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
Maintain and review ledgers, journal entries, purchase and sales transactions.
Perform regular bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, MIS reports and management reports.
Handle GST compliance, including GST return preparation and reconciliation.
Handle TDS compliance, including TDS calculation, payment and return filing.
Assist in Income Tax computation and return filing.
Coordinate and provide necessary documents/details for statutory, tax and internal audits.
Review accounting entries and ensure accuracy and completeness of books of accounts.
Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable and follow up on outstanding balances.
Ensure timely completion of accounting and statutory compliance activities.
Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them appropriately.
Maintain proper documentation and records of financial transactions.
Coordinate with clients, auditors, consultants and internal team members as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation.
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification preferred.
Good knowledge of Tally Prime / ERP software.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS and Income Tax.
Positive working knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas and accounting-related reports.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
Ability to independently handle accounting and taxation assignments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Candidates from an Accounting, CA firm, or Tax Consultancy background will be preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
