Job Overview:
looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support the development and execution of its 5.8 GW Ingot & Wafer Manufacturing Plant at Yanam, Puducherry. The candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical works related to industrial/manufacturing plants, large-scale construction, utilities, equipment installation, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate mechanical construction and installation activities at the manufacturing plant.
Review mechanical drawings, specifications, BOQs and technical documents.
Coordinate installation, erection, alignment and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems.
Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.
Coordinate with civil, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC, utility and other project teams.
Conduct inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained during mechanical works.
Monitor project progress, identify site issues and support timely resolution.
Ensure compliance with approved method statements, ITPs and safety requirements.
Prepare progress reports, inspection records and other project documentation.
Coordinate with vendors, consultants and client representatives for technical and site-related matters.
Preferred Project Experience:
Solar manufacturing / semiconductor / industrial manufacturing plants
Ingot & wafer manufacturing projects
Large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects
Mechanical equipment erection and installation
Plant utilities and associated mechanical systems
Greenfield manufacturing plant construction
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
