Key Responsibilities
Identify and approach recent clients in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Power, Engineering and Industrial sectors.
Develop relationships with EPC companies, contractors, project companies and industrial plants.
Generate recent enquiries for piping fabrication, structural fabrication and related industrial fabrication work.
Visit project sites, client offices and industrial locations to understand requirements.
Identify upcoming projects and participate in the enquiry/tender process.
Coordinate with the technical and estimation teams for BOQ, scope, costing and quotation preparation.
Prepare and submit commercial offers to clients.
Follow up on submitted quotations and negotiate with clients.
Convert enquiries into purchase orders/work orders.
Maintain regular communication with existing clients and develop repeat business.
Track competitors, market rates and upcoming projects.
Maintain a proper database of prospects, enquiries, quotations and orders.
Coordinate with Operations, Estimation, Purchase and Accounts teams after order confirmation.
Achieve monthly and annual business development and revenue targets.
Candidate Profile
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
Experience in piping fabrication, industrial fabrication, EPC, Oil & Gas or related industries preferred.
Strong client communication and negotiation skills.
Good understanding of industrial piping/fabrication work.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and project visits.
Ability to independently generate leads and convert them into business.
Target-oriented and comfortable working with business development targets.
