MS-SQL DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR (L2)

We are looking for an experienced MS-SQL Database Administrator – L2 to manage, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise MS-SQL databases with a strong focus on availability, performance, backup, security, and disaster recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure high availability and uptime of MS-SQL databases
Perform database health checks and compliance activities
Database maintenance, upgrades, patching, hardening & performance tuning
Monitor and ensure successful database backups
Perform database restoration, refreshes and DR drills
SQL Job scheduling and monitoring
Troubleshoot database incidents and service requests within SLA
Performance tuning using native monitoring tools and DMVs
Manage database security at server and database levels
Support audits and prepare database reports
Create and maintain SOPs,



documentation and technical standards
Support data extraction as per client requirements
Provide technical consultation and support to development teams
Participate in rotational on-call/off-hours support

Required Skills:
Solid hands-on experience in MS-SQL Server Administration
SQL Log Shipping & Replication – configuration and troubleshooting
Backup, Restore & Recovery Models
High Availability (HA) & Disaster Recovery (DR)
Performance Tuning & Optimization (PTO)
DMV-based troubleshooting and monitoring
Index management & Statistics
Database troubleshooting and issue resolution
Knowledge of SQL Server versions including 2008/2012/2014 and above
Solid communication and troubleshooting skills

Pay: ₹552,000.00 - ₹670,000.00 per year
