Video Editor

Caramelo Studio — Creative & Studio

Distinct from Videographer & Editor — this role is pure post-production, working from footage others shoot.

We're looking for a Video Editor to turn footage shot by our Cinematographers and Videographers into finished, on-brand pieces — colour, sound, captions, motion graphics — without needing to shoot yourself.

About Caramelo

Caramelo is a MarTech company built around one belief: most businesses don't have a marketing problem, they have a marketing process problem. We bring strategy, studio production, content, search, social, and influence together as one team, not a pile of disconnected vendors — with a fully equipped production studio in Bangalore and a growing presence in the US.

Why Join Us

We're Candy Makers: we deliver, we don't promise. We take the brief seriously and don't take ourselves too seriously. We help each other, and we name the work — credit travels with whoever actually made it. If you want real client work from day one, a team that protects the craft, and room to grow into a discipline you actually want to own, you'll fit in here.

Experience: 1–2 years

Location: Bengaluru

Employment Type:

Internship or full time

Your Responsibilities
Edit videos delivered by the Cinematographer/Videographer team — colour, sound, captions, motion graphics.
Deliver edits within the SLA tier for the format.
Keep every deliverable visually consistent with the client's brand guidelines.
Organise and manage raw footage, project files, and version history efficiently.
Flag footage gaps or issues back to the shooting crew early, not after a deadline is missed.

Superpowers You Will Need
1–2 years editing professionally, with a reel that shows range across formats.
Robust Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects skills.
Comfortable working from someone else's footage without needing to reshoot to fix problems.
Organised enough to manage multiple projects' raw files and versions without mixing them up.

If editing itself is the craft you want to master, not a stop on the way to shooting, this is your seat.

Pay: From ₹500,000.00 per year

Advantages:
Paid sick time
Paid time off
Provident Fund

Work Location: In person
