AutoCAD Drafter / Designer

This individual is responsible for translating client requirements or architectural sketches into exact manufacturing blueprints.

Technical Skills & Expertise:
Advanced AutoCAD Proficiency: Mastery of 2D drafting for structural layouts, and ideally 3D modeling for complex steel cabinet assemblies.
Design for Manufacturing (DFM): Understanding how sheet metal bends. They must know how to calculate bend deductions, flat patterns, and joint tolerances, rather than just drawing standard lines.
Cutting List Optimization: Ability to generate highly accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and optimal sheet nesting to minimize steel scrap and save costs.
Hardware Specification Integration: Precision in detailing cutouts for locksets, panic bars, hinges, and drawer slides into the drawings.

Soft Skills & Workplace Traits:
Extreme Attention to Detail: A single missing millimetre on a drawing can ruin an entire batch of steel.
Solid Cross-Team Communication: Ability to collaborate closely with the Production Supervisor and shop floor workers to clarify design intent and implement feedback.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
