Job Summary:
Responsible for sterilization, disinfection, and distribution of surgical instruments in compliance with NABH standards. Ensures infection control, patient safety, and smooth support to OT, especially for ophthalmic procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee cleaning, sterilization (Autoclave, ETO), and storage of instruments
Maintain sterilization records, logs, and audit readiness (NABH compliance)
Monitor sterilization indicators and ensure process effectiveness
Manage inventory of sterile supplies and equipment maintenance
Supervise and train CSSD staff; prepare duty rosters
Coordinate with OT for timely instrument availability
Ensure adherence to infection control, PPE, and biomedical waste protocols
Eligibility:
Qualification: Diploma in CSSD / OT Technology or relevant field
Experience: 3–5 years in CSSD (NABH hospital preferred)

Note:
Experience with ophthalmic instruments and quick sterilization turnaround is an advantage.
