Role Summary
Responsible for supervising sheet-metal fabrication processes and ensuring the dimensional, welding, and overall quality of transformer tanks and fabricated components.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise cutting, shearing, bending, rolling, drilling, welding, grinding, and fit-up operations.
Ensure fabrication as per drawings, specifications, and process requirements.
Conduct in-process and final inspection of transformer tanks/components.
Check dimensions, alignment, flatness, welding quality, and surface finish.
Identify and control defects, rejection, and rework.
Maintain inspection and quality records.
Coordinate with Production, Design, PPC, and Quality teams.
Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Ensure 5S, safety, SOP,



and quality compliance.

Qualification & Skills
ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Fabrication, Quality, or related field.
4–9 years of experience in transformer manufacturing, sheet-metal, or heavy fabrication.
Valuable knowledge of welding, fabrication drawings, dimensional inspection, and quality control.
Experience in transformer tank fabrication and quality inspection preferred.

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
