R&D; Executive – Dyes & Intermediates

Experience: 2–5 Years
Salary: ₹30,000–₹35,000 per month
Reporting To: Director
Qualification: M.Sc. Organic Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry preferred; B.Sc. Chemistry with relevant hands-on experience can also be considered.

Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on R&D; Executive – Dyes & Intermediates to support product development, process improvement and laboratory trials under the guidance of consultants and management.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct laboratory trials for dyes and dye intermediates as per defined process instructions.
Handle reaction parameters such as temperature, pH, mole ratio, addition sequence, reaction time, distillation and reflux.
Perform titration, Coupling Value (CV), Nitrite Value (NV) and Specific Gravity calculations.
Handle filtration, washing, isolation, drying and yield calculations.




Maintain accurate batch sheets, trial records, sample labelling and experimental observations.
Support product development, process improvement and lab-to-plant scale-up activities.
Maintain trial data and records using Excel.

Preferred Experience
Experience in Dyes / Dye Intermediates.
Knowledge of Azo chemistry, condensation, acylation or related organic reactions.
Experience in shade, strength, solubility and purity evaluation.
Exposure to salt-free / low-salt dye development.
Pilot-scale or manufacturing R&D; experience will be an advantage.
