Backend Engineer

Type: Full time

About the Role

We're building a HR Management System need a backend engineer to own the API, server, and deployment.

What You'll Do

Build and maintain REST APIs using Node.js / NestJS

Work with MySQL databases

Handle AWS infrastructure (S3, SQS) and Docker deployments

Integrate services like Firebase, Razorpay, and email

Write clean, documented, production-ready code using AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.)

Must Have

Node.js + TypeScript (NestJS preferred)

MySQL + TypeORM / Sequelize

AWS basics + Docker

JWT authentication & RBAC

Comfortable writing and reviewing code with AI coding assistants as part of daily workflow

2–4 years backend experience

Valuable to Have

Frontend knowledge (React / Next.js) — added advantage

CI/CD experience





HR domain familiarity

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
Alandur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
