Instrument Operation: Gas Chromatography (GC) systems are operated, calibrated, and maintained for accurate chemical analysis. Sample Testing: Raw materials, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), and finished goods are analyzed, specifically checking for residual solvents, purity, and volatile impurities. Troubleshooting: Equipment issues, baseline drifts, or column problems are diagnosed and fixed to keep the laboratory running smoothly. Documentation: Test results, Certificates of Analysis (COAs), and calibration logs are recorded strictly following Positive Laboratory Practices (GLP). Compliance & Audits: Testing procedures adhere to current Valuable Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and regulatory guidelines (like USFDA or WHO). Investigation:



Out-of-Specification (OOS) or Out-of-Trend (OOT) results are investigated, and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) are implemented. Method Validation: Analytical methods for GC testing are supported, verified, or validated.
