Patent Engineer / Patent Attorney – Engineering & Mechanical

Location: Mumbai
Experience: 4–6 Years
Practice Area: Intellectual Property – Patents

Key Responsibilities
Draft and prosecute patent applications before the Indian Patent Office.
Conduct patentability assessments and provide IP support for engineering and mechanical inventions.
Work closely with inventors and clients to understand innovations and develop appropriate IP protection strategies.
Prepare responses to examination reports, office actions and other prosecution-related communications.
Independently manage patent matters and client interactions.
Conduct prior-art searches and analyse technical and patent documents.

Key Requirements
4–6 years of experience in patent drafting and prosecution.




Solid experience in Engineering and Mechanical domains.
Registered Indian Patent Agent – mandatory.
Ability to independently handle drafting, prosecution and client interactions.
Robust understanding of Indian patent law and prosecution procedures.
Excellent analytical, technical writing and communication skills.

Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech in Engineering – mandatory.
LL.B./LL.M. preferred, but not mandatory.
Registered Indian Patent Agent.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
