Qualification:
B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering
or
M.Sc in Biomedical Science / Biomedical Instrumentation
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain biomedical equipment and instruments.
Coordinate installation, commissioning, calibration, and preventive maintenance of equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and coordinate with service providers for repairs.
Maintain equipment records, service reports, AMC/CMC details, and maintenance schedules.
Ensure timely preventive and corrective maintenance of biomedical equipment.
Coordinate with clinical and technical departments regarding equipment requirements and issues.
Monitor equipment performance and ensure proper functioning and safety.
Assist in procurement, evaluation,
and replacement of biomedical equipment.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Prepare regular reports on equipment status, maintenance, and breakdowns.
Coordinate with vendors and service engineers for technical support.
