Job Summary

The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for reviewing tender documents and drawings, preparing detailed BOQs and quantity take-offs, developing accurate cost estimates, evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations, and supporting the project team with reliable budgets and commercial information.

The ideal candidate should have 5–8 years of relevant estimation experience, with GCC experience being mandatory, preferably within interior fit-out and joinery projects.

Key Responsibilities
Review architectural drawings, joinery drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
Prepare detailed BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates.
Prepare accurate estimates and quotations for Interior Fit-Out and Joinery projects.
Obtain, review, and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Analyze project costs and identify prospects for value engineering and cost optimization.
Coordinate with Design, Projects, Production, and Procurement teams.
Ensure timely submission of estimates and quotations with a high level of accuracy.




Support project handover by providing estimation information, budgets, BOQs, and related commercial details.
Maintain proper documentation of estimates, quotations, rate analysis, and project costing.
Assist in developing and maintaining accurate material and labour rates.

Requirements
5–8 years of relevant experience in Estimation, preferably in Interior Fit-Out & Joinery.
GCC experience is mandatory.
Robust knowledge of interior fit-out and joinery materials, construction methods, and market rates.
Excellent knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, estimation, and cost analysis.
Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, joinery, and MEP drawings.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight tender deadlines.
Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
