Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Assistant Accountant to support our Accounts & Finance department. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of accounting principles, Tally/Tally Prime, GST, TDS, MS Excel, and banking transactions. The candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally / Tally Prime.
Prepare and record purchase, payment, receipt, and journal vouchers.
Assist in GST calculations, return preparation, and reconciliation.
Prepare TDS calculations, deductions, and maintain TDS records.
Perform bank reconciliation and monitor banking transactions.
Maintain vendor and customer ledgers.
Generate invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and records.
Prepare MIS reports using MS Excel.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, and statutory authorities as required.




Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Perform any other accounting and finance-related tasks assigned by management.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or equivalent.
1–3 years of experience in accounting (Freshers with strong knowledge may also apply).
Proficiency in Tally / Tally Prime.
Good knowledge of GST and TDS.
Solid working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Basic Formulas preferred).
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy.
