Apprentice Mechanical Fitter Responsibilities
Read Blueprints: Study technical and engineering drawings to see how parts fit together.
Operate Tools: Use hand tools, precision measuring instruments (like calipers), and heavy machinery (like drills or lathes).
Assemble Parts: Cut, shape, file, and join metal components to build sub-assemblies or machines.
Perform Maintenance: Help carry out routine checks, clean parts, and repair broken machinery under supervision.
Follow Safety Rules: Wear protective gear and keep work areas clean and secure

Apprentice Electrician Responsibilities
Interpret Wiring Diagrams: Follow blueprints and technical schematics to route cables and place electrical devices.
Install Systems: Mount conduits, pull wires, and connect switches, breakers, and light fixtures.
Test Circuits: Use multimeters and diagnostic tools to check voltage, resistance, and continuity.
Troubleshoot Faults: Help identify short circuits, blown fuses, or failing electrical components.
Comply with Codes: Adhere strictly to local electrical safety rules and regulations to prevent fire or shock hazards
