Perform in-process and final inspection of press components using standard measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Verify press tool design for manufacturability and dimensional accuracy prior to production.
Assist in the development and approval of first samples and prototypes, ensuring compliance with customer specifications.
Develop and maintain inspection plans and quality documentation (e.g., control plans, FMEAs, PPAPs).
Monitor and analyze quality metrics and production data to identify trends and improvement prospects.
Address customer complaints by investigating root causes, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and maintaining effective communication with the customer.
Collaborate with production, design,



and tooling departments to resolve quality and process-related issues.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards and customer-specific requirements.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and use quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone Diagram for problem-solving.
Support the calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments and ensure accurate quality records.
Train operators and quality inspectors on product standards and inspection techniques.
Assist in internal audits, external audits, and customer visits.
