A Carnatic Vocal Music Teacher is responsible for training students of various age groups and skill levels in the theory, techniques, and practical execution of South Indian classical music.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Classes: Plan and deliver structured, engaging daily or weekly lessons covering foundational exercises (Sarali Varisai, Janta Varisai), Alankaram, Geethams, Swarajatis, Keerthanas, and advanced compositions.
Teach Theory & Concepts: Instruct students on Swaras (notes), Ragas (melodic frameworks), Talas (rhythmic cycles), Gamakas (oscillation/ornamentation), and Manodharma (improvisation).
Vocal Training: Coach students on pitch accuracy, breath control, voice modulation, and laya (tempo) precision.
Student Assessment: Evaluate progress, provide constructive feedback, and prepare students for recitals, internal evaluations, or classical music examinations and competitions.
Curriculum Management: Design lesson plans tailored to beginner, intermediate, or advanced learners in individual or group settings (either offline or online via digital platforms).
Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹36,000.00 per month
