ICSE History Teacher – Primus Public School

At Primus Public School, we believe that History is more than dates and events, it is about understanding people, cultures, ideas, and the world we live in. We are looking for a passionate and inspiring Grade 6–10 ICSE History Teacher who can bring the past to life and spark curiosity, discussion, and a love for learning in our students.

The ideal candidate will have robust subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a warm, student-centred approach to teaching. You should enjoy creating engaging learning experiences that encourage students to think critically, ask questions, and connect the past with the present.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, interactive, and age-appropriate History lessons.
Inspire students to explore the past with curiosity and develop solid analytical and critical-thinking skills.




Assess and monitor students’ academic progress and provide meaningful feedback.
Create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment.
Collaborate with colleagues and actively contribute to the wider life of the school.
Support students in developing confidence, curiosity, and a genuine appreciation for History.

What We’re Looking For
Master’s degree in History with a B.Ed. or relevant teaching qualification.
A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably with ICSE students.
Solid understanding of the ICSE History curriculum and assessment practices.
ICSE evaluation/examination experience would be an added advantage.
A warm, enthusiastic, and student-focused approach to teaching.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
