Plant HR (AM) - Job Description

Plant HR Manager / Unit Head

Role Purpose

To manage and execute all HR operations at the plant level, ensuring smooth workforce management, statutory compliance, employee engagement, and alignment with organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end recruitment, interviews, onboarding, induction.
Attendance & Payroll: Maintain attendance, leave, rosters, payroll inputs, absenteeism.
Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, Factory Act, Gratuity Act; maintain registers; coordinate audits.
Employee Relations: Handle grievances, disciplinary matters, industrial relations, engagement activities.
Performance Management: Support appraisals and performance tracking.




Training & Development: Identify training needs and coordinate technical/behavioral programs.
HR Operations: Maintain employee records, implement HR policies/SOPs, manage contract labour and vendors.

Key Requirements
Qualification: MBA / PGDM in HR or relevant field
Experience: 6+ years in Plant HR / Manufacturing
Preferred: FMCG / Packaging / Manufacturing industry
