Job Purpose

To deliver engaging, concept-based History lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum, develop students’ historical understanding and critical-thinking skills, and contribute to their overall academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver effective History lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum and school academic framework.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, worksheets, assignments, projects, and assessments.
Explain historical concepts, events, timelines, and developments using age-appropriate and engaging teaching methodologies.
Encourage students to develop critical thinking, analytical skills, research skills, and an understanding of historical perspectives.
Conduct classroom discussions, debates, presentations, projects, and other experiential learning activities.
Assess student learning through classwork, assignments, tests, projects, examinations, and continuous assessment.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide timely feedback.




Identify learning gaps and provide appropriate remedial support to students.
Integrate technology, multimedia, primary sources, maps, timelines, and other teaching aids wherever appropriate.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom workplace.
Collaborate with the Social Science department and other faculty members for academic planning and interdisciplinary activities.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate students’ academic progress professionally.
Contribute to school events, exhibitions, clubs, field trips, assemblies, and co-curricular activities.
Stay updated with CBSE curriculum changes, teaching methodologies, assessment practices, and subject-specific developments.
Maintain appropriate documentation related to lesson planning, assessments, student performance, and academic records.
Follow school policies, academic standards, child-safety guidelines, and skilled conduct requirements.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,800.00 per month
