JOB DESCRIPTION – VMC OPERATOR

Position: VMC Operator

Experience: 2–3 Years

Key Responsibilities
Operate VMC machines as per production requirements.
Set up machines, tools, fixtures, and workpieces.
Read and understand engineering drawings.
Set tool offsets, work offsets, and machining parameters.
Perform milling, drilling, tapping, and other machining operations.
Check component dimensions using measuring instruments.
Perform first-piece and in-process inspection.
Maintain required quality and production targets.
Identify tool wear and machine problems and report them to the supervisor.
Maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety rules.
Maintain daily production records.

Required Skills




Positive knowledge of VMC machine operation and basic machine setting.
Knowledge of engineering drawings.
Knowledge of tool setting, tool offsets, and work offsets.
Positive knowledge of measuring instruments.
Basic knowledge of G-Code and M-Code.
Ability to work independently and meet production targets.

Qualification
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Machinist, Fitter, CNC/VMC, or related trade.
2–3 years of relevant VMC Operator experience required.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
