NKey Responsibilities

n1. Product Design & Development
N
Design and develop mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and complete assemblies for
Nmedical devices.
n
Create 3D CAD models, assemblies, detailed manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and engineering
Ndocumentation using SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD.
N
Ensure designs meet functional, ergonomic, aesthetic, reliability, and durability requirements.
N2. Plastic Injection Molded Component Design
N
Design and develop plastic injection molded components for medical devices.
N
Define critical design parameters including: Wall thickness, Draft angles, Ribs and bosses,
NSnap-fit mechanisms, Parting lines, Gate locations.
N
Participate in mold design reviews and tooling trials (T0, T1, T2).
N
Analyze and resolve molding issues such as: Sink marks, Warpage, Shrinkage, Flow marks,
NCosmetic defects.
n3. Precision Metal Parts Design
N
Design metal components utilizing: CNC machining, Turning, Milling,
Sheet metal fabrication,
NCasting processes.
n
Select appropriate materials including: Stainless Steel (SS304 / SS316), Aluminum alloys,
NBrass, Titanium and otherengineering metals.

Define surface finishingrequirements such as: Anodizing, Passivation, Powder coating,
NPolishing, Electropolishing.
N4. Medical DeviceEnclosure & Housing
N
Design functional and aesthetic enclosures, housings, and external assemblies for medical
Ndevices.
n
Consider thermal management, cable routing, serviceability, user accessibility, and product
Nsafety requirements.
n
Integrate mechanical designs with electronics, sensors, motors, actuators, and other
Nsubsystems
n
N5. Prototyping, Testing & Validation
N
Support rapid prototyping using CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and 3D printing
Ntechnologies.
n
Conduct fit, form, and functional evaluations of prototypes.
